PODCAST: As winter approaches, the risk of burn injuries increases. During National Burns Awareness Week, the National Burn Association of South Africa’s Sharon Jones and Colin Lee spoke to POWER98.7 about this year’s theme, “Protect, Prevent, Heal,” and shared essential information on staying safe and supporting burn survivors.
It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of a friend and supporter of NBASA, Rick Habib. When we first met he immediately saw the value in our work and wholeheartedly volunteered to assist in any way he could. His first act of support was in our electronic communications and social media space.
